Broad Reach is an independent film production company founded in 2010 to
develop and produce distinctive feature films of the highest quality, whose
stories reflect the human experience and resonate with a diverse audience.
Shannon is a film producer and screenwriter.
She is also an award-winning journalist with more than a decade of experience reporting and producing hard news and feature stories for national programs on public radio, including Marketplace, All Things Considered and Morning Edition.
Shannon worked as an Assistant Director on the 2010 independent feature film GIRLFRIEND, which won the Audience Award at the 2010 Gotham Film Festival and secured international theatrical distribution.
She lives in New England where she’s on the board of the region’s chapter of Women in Film & Television (WIFT). Shannon is also a contributing writer for the Location Managers Guild of America (LMGA).
Shaun is an award-winning producer, screenwriter and director.
He is currently co-producing THE AUTOMATIC HATE starring Joseph Cross (LINCOLN, MILK), Adelaide Clemens (THE GREAT GATSBY) and Richard Schiff (The West Wing, MAN OF STEEL).
Shaun also produced the 2010 independent film GIRLFRIEND, starring Shannon Woodward (Fox TV’s Raising Hope), Jackson Rathbone (TWILIGHT) and Golden Globe Nominee Amanda Plummer (THE HUNGER GAMES, PULP FICTION). GIRLFRIEND premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and won the Audience Award at the Independent Feature Project’s annual Gotham Awards in 2011.
Shaun’s first film, DAKOTA SKYE, was released in 2008 and is currently airing on Showtime, Netflix On-Demand and other outlets.
Shaun has more than two decades of experience working on the production of major feature films, including THE ODD LIFE OF TIMOTHY GREEN, THE MATRIX RELOADED and DREAMGIRLS. He has also worked as an assistant to BAFTA and Golden Globe nominated director Joe Wright and Academy Award Nominated director Peter Hedges. Shaun is a member of the Producers Guild of America and lives in Los Angeles, California.
